Friends, Students, and fellow Connoisseurs of Whiteboard-Deco:
Thank you for taking Studio 101: Into to University Art--Whiteboard-Deco. My name is Madame Michelle...yes, that is Michelle, with a Me and a Chell. Today our class will tour one of the great art galleries of Loyola: The Simpsonheimer Museum of Art. The artwork depicts the very essence of dorm living, while allowing the glorious light of surrealism to shine through. It is the epitome of Impressionism and the soul of Realism. It glimmers with the stroke of the artist and sparkles with the precision of the expression. The marker is the tool, and the whiteboard the canvas.
Upon passing through the grand Simpsonheimer Foyer and up the grand staircase, we arrive in the Disney Gallery....one of my favorites! On your right and left are lovely renditions of Disney characters in their most beauteous of forms. Notice the attention to detail…Ah, the brilliancy of color. Marvelous, simply Marvelous.

Moving right along, allow your minds to waltz into the Holiday Gallery—what works of intense sentiment and artistic beauty! This is what I love about the medium of the white board. It allows for such natural flow and movement of the artist's thoughts. Wunderba!
Let us not forget our favorite classical pieces. They have a wonderful nostalgia about them. Please take a few moments to enjoy the expertise of the artist's work, and pay special attention to the sheer brilliance of each line and precise antiquity.
Moving right along, let us gaze upon our Modern Gallery. Practicality is key in this style of whiteboard pastiche. Each one depicts its own majesty in the intricacy of thought and idea. Let us not overlook the prominence of color and the importance of letters written. Each letter, the truest reflection of the artist's soul.

And finally, the crème-de-la-crème, our Picasso of whiteboard excellence, our Surrealism Gallery. These artists are some of the most famous whiteboard artists from around the world. The mastery of shading and expression, as well as their profound abstract representation is breathtaking! Sheerly breathtaking!
Well, class, what a wonderful experience for your first class! I hope all of you enjoyed the Simpsonheimer and will feel free to return for a visit in the future. Next week, friends, we experience the paradigm of the Dorm-Decorating! Be prepared with the required sticky hooks and Christmas lights!!
C'est la vie and a little "Que será sera",
Michelle
